‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 23 (finale) video: Sam v. Rowena

Sam Winchester may be a very intelligent guy, but even his charm is apparently ineffective on Rowena. This is at least what we get from the sneak peek below from Wednesday night’s “Supernatural” season 10 finale, which serves as good proof that nothing for him is going to come particularly easy when it comes to finding a way to save Dean.

Jared Padalecki’s character seems to be very much aware of the power Rowena possesses, and he knows that if there is someone more than capable of being able to help, it is her. However, he learns quickly here that threats are not going to be particularly effective in dealing with her. She knows that without her around, there is really not anything that Sam can do in order to save his brother. She is a key piece to the puzzle, and is not expendable in any sense of the word.

Therefore, if Sam wants to use her in any capacity moving forward, she makes it very clear to him that he is going to have to make some sort of an offer. If he can offer her something that she wants or needs, then maybe she will be lending a helping hand.

Will Rowena survive the finale? We are really not sure on that at the moment. There is a part of us that certainly wants to see that happen, given that she is very intriguing and a different sort of character than we’re used to seeing on the show. However, at the same time we saw with Charlie that this is a season where terrible things can really happen within the blink of an eye to people.
