‘Supernatural’ season 10 finale video: Show boss on Sam, Dean, and stakes

If there is a common thread with “Supernatural” as a series, it is the bond that Sam and Dean Winchester have for each other. It is a complicated sort of brotherly love, but we have seen time and time again that they will do just about anything for each other … even when that means doing something that may not be entirely ethical so long as it achieves the desired result.

In the video below, you can see some of the events coming of that variety on Wednesday night’s finale. As executive producer Jeremy Carver makes it clear, there are some complicated stakes here. Sam wants to do everything that he can to save his brother, while Dean according to Carver simply wants to save “the world from himself.” There will be some surprising alliances made throughout, and in that there is the possibility for a shocking death or something else that could alter the course of the show.

While we’d like to say at the moment that every regular is safe, for now we are only confident in the Winchesters. As far as hopes go, we would really like to see the story of the Mark of Cain finally wrap itself up this season. That is something that we have watched all season long, and while it has meant great material for the actors, it does feel like time to move on to the next thing.

Before we sign off here, we do want to send our best wishes out to Jared Padalecki right now, who has asked for some love and support as he goes off to be with his family. We’re not going to touch on it any further than that, other than just saying to #AlwaysKeepFighting.
