‘Survivor: Second Chance’: Why Kelly Wiglesworth is worthy of your vote
It’s pretty hard to come up with a reason against putting Kelly Wiglesworth on “Survivor: Second Chance.” She almost should be the dictionary definition for the term. This is a woman who played all the way back on the very first season of the show in Borneo, and it was a very different game then. Alliances were frowned upon, strategy was in its infancy, and things like immunity idols and tribe swaps were not even discussion points. This is how old the first season is now; the cast photos look like they came from high school picture day.
We have no idea what Kelly would do or how she would play in the event she makes it onto the season, and that is precisely why we are so curious to see if she can take the past 15-plus years of time away from the show and apply it in an interesting way. You can vote for her and others over on the CBS website.
Past experience – “Survivor: Borneo” (2nd place)
Why you should vote for her – Because she’s the original runner-up, and she barely lost all the way back then to Richard Hatch! There is just something so fascinating about getting to see her specifically come back and play again. Sure, it was interesting for Gervase a few seasons ago, but this is someone who has never been voted out, and with that at least knows a few aspects about how to play the game that should still apply to the present.
Why you wouldn’t vote for her – Because you really hated the first season, or have never sat down to watch it? You’re going to be hard-pressed to really think of any other reason.
Our prediction – Kelly has to be a shoo-in for this, and it will be really disappointing if she doesn’t make the cut. Even casual fans who barely remember her should check her name off just because of the curiosity of getting to see her back alone.
