‘Survivor: Second Chance’: Why Sabrina Thompson is worthy of your vote
There are many things that we like about this “Survivor: Second Chance” season at the moment and the various campaigns to bring people back. One of them is that in opening the field up to 32 contestants for America to vote on, we have a chance to pick and choose more of who we think are some of the best players.
This brings us today to Sabrina Thompson, a woman who did get two votes in the finale against Kim Spradlin, who we consider to be the most dominant one-season player of all time. She’s a really strong player who gets routinely overlooked just because “One World” was a pretty boring season due in part to the strength of the women’s alliance. Maybe this article can help to right that wrong.
Past experience – “Survivor: One World” (2nd place)
Why you should vote for her – She is not a flashy player, but she is an effective one who is going to play very hard, and constantly consider where she stands on the chessboard. There’s also at least a little bit of an unknown quantity; we saw so much of Kim during her season, we still don’t think we ever got a sense of how good Sabrina can really be given her own time in the spotlight.
Why you wouldn’t vote for her – As we just said, she is not a flashy player. Your voting here will probably depend heavily on what you are looking for in a “Survivor” player. If you want someone who is going to make crazy moves even if they are detrimental to their own game, she may not be your pick.
Our prediction – We’re going to vote for her to return, but we is going to have an uphill battle given that she is a couple of years removed from her season and there are more memorable contestants on this list.
