‘Outlander’ episode 13 video: Claire gives Sam a ‘warning’

Last weekend, “Outlander” introduced us for the first time to Lallybroch, the ancestral home of Jamie Fraser that was not entirely the same that he remembered. Most notably, it was a reminder that there is a constant state of flux in the world. Jenny grew up without him around, and he had to understand there are responsibilities that come with being a Laird that he cannot abandon.

At the end of the episode, though, we witnessed quite the cliffhanger ending when it comes to Jamie’s safety as a ghost from his past returned, and certainly had a few violent intentions for him that were made clear without a whole lot of hesitation. As a matter of fact, Claire found him with a knife to his throat!

If there is something good that we can say about the sneak peek below from Saturday’s new episode, it is mostly that Jamie is not at least in the same sort of danger that he was … though he definitely still is in some danger, given the nature of this show. It is simply a conversation about Jamie embarking on some sort of journey, and her then telling him to come back sooner rather than later. As for whether or not he actually will, that is to be seen, but viewers who do enjoy this show for the classic romance of it all should have a bit to enjoy here.
