‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 22 preview: ‘This Is Your Sword’ leads into finale

Fans of “Arrow,” prepare yourselves, as the end of the road for the season is almost here. Next week’s “This Is Your Sword” continues the tradition of having episodes named after Bruce Springsteen episodes, and it could be a pretty fantastic hour of TV depending on what the show decides that they want to do here. While we know nothing for certain at this very moment, traditionally “Arrow” does do a fairly fantastic job of making these action-packed episodes that set up something insane in the finale. Given where we are now with Al Sah-him in training, anything is possible.

In case you have not seen it already, take a look at the synopsis below:

“Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) finishes his training and is left with two final tasks to become the next Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s (guest star Matt Nable) threatens Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) and delivers some shocking news. Meanwhile, Malcolm (John Barrowman) makes a surprising offer to Team Arrow and Thea (Willa Holland) goes to see Roy (Colton Haynes).”

This episode may be the last time you see Haynes on the show for a long while, as Roy’s departure helps to ensure that the Arrow stays dead in Starling City. What does this mean for him and Thea? Eventually, he will probably tell her to move forward with her life, but we still would not be surprised if at some point years down the road, these two find a way to stay together.
