‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 23 preview: A major story for Grace Park’s Kono

Kono -There will be another new episode of “Hawaii Five-0” airing on CBS next week, though we have to admit that we find ourselves at least reasonably conflicted at the moment when it comes to how to promote it. For example, the show really seems to make you want to believe that there is a chance that Kono could pass away in the hour. However, at the same time the network has already made it clear that her wedding to Adam is going to be one of the big highlights of the finale. There’s not really a whole lot of tension into the story in that sense.

Therefore, you’re going to have to hope for some other compelling reasons to watch the episode “Mo’o ‘olelo Pu” (“Sharing Traditions”), and we figure the performance of Grace Park’s Kono is going to be a big part of it. She will be spending a ton of time on her own in the episode, and this should give the story a somewhat different feel than anything that we have seen so far.

For some other scoop on what to expect (if you have not seen it already), take a look at the attached synopsis:

“When Kono goes on a solo outrigger trip around the Hawaiian islands in honor of her mother, she hits a patch of wild weather and must fight to stay alive. As Five-0 searches for Kono, they investigate a man busted for cooking meth who claims he received a threat on his son’s life if he didn’t continue making the drug.”
