ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 20 preview: Bellamy Young’s Mellie faces tough times
Mellie Grant thought that she had everything figured out on “Scandal” this season. She plotted her way to being a good Presidential candidate, and part of that included getting herself set up to run for Senate. Unfortunately for her, what she didn’t realize was that Susan Ross was much more competent that she first gave her credit for, and in addition to that, she thought that she was smarter than everyone else in the room.
Now, this leads us into the next new episode, which carries with it the title of “First Lady Sings the Blues.” While we don’t quite think we are reverting back to the Mellie we saw earlier this season, Bellamy Young is going to have plenty of great material. Not only that, but the story of B613 and the attempts to take it down will continue. Just take a look at the synopsis below for some further insight:
“The team taking down B613 is in serious danger and forced to take drastic measures to ensure their safety. In the White House, Mellie is mortified when the nation turns against her and Cyrus is forced to come to her defense.”
Now, we have to turn to what is a promo that barely mentions Mellie at all. Instead, this could be a huge battle regarding Olivia and Papa Pope, and it seems that Jake Ballard is already one casualty. By the time this season is over, even more bodies could be buried.
