ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 19 preview: Olivia and another dead body

“Scandal” season 4 is about to get bloody … or at least somewhat bloodier than it has been lately. While we know that there is still the threat of B613 out there, not to mention a myriad of other problems at the White House, Olivia Pope is going to be at least partially sidelined courtesy of a murder, one that proves itself to be very difficult to figure out almost right away.

So what is the major issue here? As the sneak peek below shows you, she has stumbled across a dead body, and this dead body happens to be that of the Mayor’s Wife. This is going to be a pretty tricky pick to get Marcus out of, depending on what exactly happened here. Ultimately, there may not be any way to help him at all. Does this remind anyone else right away of the David Rosen story during season 2? We mostly wonder because this is what we think of here almost immediately.

We imagine that this story is strictly meant to be one of the procedural ones for the week, mostly due to the fact that there is so much other good stuff going on here. Remember that much of the hype at the moment is all around whether or not we are going to get a chance to see Rowan in action this week; it seems like we will, but there is not exactly any word on just what he is going to be up to.
