‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 19 preview: Ellen Pompeo’s story in ‘Crazy Love’

We’ve been handed an embarrassment of riches lately when it comes to “Grey’s Anatomy.” Thanks to there being a small batch of episodes in the fall, we’re getting a great string of new episodes this spring. That includes “Crazy Love,” which is going to be a story that features love very much in the air. Granted, is this the love that everyone wants to celebrate? Not exactly, given that Meredith is set to create quite a stink over what Owen and Amelia have been up to. This should be a different sort of Ellen Pompeo storyline, and we can only hope that it is something a little more upbeat than what the poor woman has been through lately with Derek.

In the event that you haven’t seen the synopsis for this episode already, take a look at it below. You’re also going to get a sense in here of a pretty big Catherine Avery story:

“Upon realizing that Owen and Amelia have been seeing each other behind her back, Meredith comes down hard on her sister-in-law causing Amelia to rethink things. Meanwhile, Catherine springs into action when a man is brought into the hospital after his wife seeks revenge on his cheatings ways.”

One thing that is very important to know right now is that the new episode is airing at 9:00 p.m. Eastern next week, and it will be proceeded by the very first episode … ever. Why do this now? Think of it as a way to help celebrate the show’s tenth anniversary.
