‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 16 video: What has Sam, Dean perplexed?

Tuesday night’s “Supernatural” episode is entitled “Paint It Black,” and the story for this installment is going to be all about trying to figure out what is going on with a very complicated series of deaths. What’s going on here? It’s not entirely clear, and that is what is driving Sam and Dean up the wall in the sneak peek below.

First and foremost, one particular death they are looking into is suicide … by candlestick? Given that this is not a game of Clue, there is something that is very odd about this. Suspicions are high that the Catholic faith may be a tie between victims, but here’s the problem: The two are in the northeast, and Catholicism is very prominent as a religion in the area.

Eventually, these two brothers are going to start to figure out what is really going on here, but let’s just say that this is going to be very surprising story for these two guys to tackle. While it is not exactly going to be the most revealing of the entire season, or advance the story extensively, it still should be a lot of fun. We’ve said this many times over the years, but we are continually a fan of these episodes that are so old-school and give us a meaty mystery and plenty of our leading men. Plus, we know that the heavier stuff revolving around the Mark of Cain will be coming soon enough.

For those of you who are Rowena fans, her story is going to return to the forefront sooner rather than later.
