‘American Horror Story: Hotel’: Connie Britton would ‘love’ returning to franchise

American Horror Story -Could we see a reprisal of Connie Britton on “American Horror Story” in the future? While we haven’t quite thought about it a whole lot at the time, it is starting to look like it’s possible. While at a TV Academy event per Variety, the current “Nashville” star made it clear that after her scene-stealing turn in the very first season “Murder House,” she does want to be back at some point: “I would love to come back, but scheduling is tricky.”

There are more than twenty episodes of “Nashville” every season, and when you think about everything that needs to be done here in terms of musical numbers and scenes, free time is extremely limited. Therefore, we worry as to whether or not she will ever be able to appear before the series on ABC comes to a close.

During this interview, Britton also made it clear why she really enjoyed appearing on “Murder House” in the first place:

“The thing that [creator Ryan Murphy] said to me was, ‘You can take my word for it that you will not be doing anything that you’ve been doing for the last five years on this show … And that appealed to me a lot.”

Luckily, it feels like the upcoming season already has a pretty tremendous cast. Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer has been cast as the leads, and Cheyenne Jackson and Wes Bentley are also going to be coming on board. There’s no premiere date yet, but expect it to air this fall.
