‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: The fight to stop Eva Sinclair

Originals -We’ve already come to learn quite a bit about “The Originals” this season, and one of the things that we’ve discovered is that the show is very much content with having a variety of different villains. How else do you explain the fact that we’ve seen Mikael, Esther, and Eva Sinclair all being forces against the Mikaelson family in some shape or form?

Of course, Eva may have more motivation than anyone else to be a foe against the first family of vampires. After all, Rebekah has taken over her body, and you have to think sooner or later that she would end up mounting some sort of resistance. She will prove to be a major thorn in the side of some of our favorite characters during the April 6 episode entitled “Exquisite Corpse.” Just take a look at the attached synopsis for more in terms of what to expect:

“When Eva Sinclair’s (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) reemergence leaves Rebekah trapped and helpless, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is forced to put aside his mistrust for Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel) in order to save Rebekah’s life. Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) learn more about Eva’s violent past from Josephine (guest star Meg Foster), who then makes a startling revelation about Hayley’s future. With time running out to save Rebekah, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) turns to a reluctant Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) for his help to take down Eva, but his plan takes an unexpected turn, as Eva will not go down without a fight.”

Hopefully by the end of this episode, we’ll get a chance to see if Eva actually achieves what she wants. This is not going to be easy for her, and that is what makes this particular episode so interesting.
