‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 16 preview: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and … evil nuns?

Check it out -After spending the entire past season and a half as a part of The CW’s Tuesday-night lineup, “Supernatural” returned on Wednesday to kick off the remainder of their season there with “The Things They Carried.” This brought back Cole, and sent the Winchesters down a very interesting road to figure out whether or not an Army vet had become some sort of monster.

Next week for “Paint It Black,” it appears as though Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are returning to church … sort of. Specifically, it feels like Sam and Dean are going to be tasked with trying to stop a pretty evil nun from wrecking havoc. It’s going to be a story that will definitely provide its fair share of creepy moments, and the synopsis below is just a nice little taste of what you can expect to see as a whole:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a string of suicides committed by people with little in common other than the identical, grisly method of death – slow, self-administered disembowlment. All of the victims were members of a Catholic church and had recently given confession, leading the brothers to suspect the priest (guest star Stephen Daniel Curtis) is somehow involved. Meanwhile, when Crowley (Mark Sheppard) captures Olivette (guest star Teryl Rothery), the leader of the Grand Coven, Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) pleads her case to be allowed to practice magic freely again.”

The promo below focuses mostly on the Winchesters, and it’s funny. If nothing else, it’s a great little peek into the action of this episode without giving anything major away.
