‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 16 preview: Should Meredith be worried about Derek?
Is “Grey’s Anatomy” going to be airing an important episode next week? It is certainly worth asking that question, and for one simple reason: Trying to figure out whether or not Derek is seeing someone else. Is history going to repeat itself? This is what the promo below makes you wonder after some signs for Ellen Pompeo’s character starts to wonder.
Of course, this is not the only story that is going to be critically important during this episode. As the synopsis below via ABC makes it clear, we are also going to have a chance to see whether or not Maggie and Richard will have their entire dynamic change after an important talk:
“A patient’s condition sparks a conversation between Richard and Maggie about Alzheimer’s disease; April and Jackson struggle to return to their normal lives and Arizona is faced with the reality that Callie is moving on. Meanwhile, Meredith reveals her biggest fears about Derek.”
Obviously, we hope that Meredith and Derek make it through all of this all right, mostly because we have seen them survive trial after trial before. The unfortunate thing is that this synopsis is also a not-so-pleasant reminder of the couple who did not make it in Callie and Arizona, who at one points looked like they would be together forever.
Then again, nothing on “Grey’s Anatomy” is permanent, and it is always possible that these two could eventually find their way back to each other. These are just some important things to remember as we press onward.
