‘Criminal Minds’ season 10, episode 17 preview: A Jennifer Love Hewitt story in ‘Breath Play’
It’s been a while since you had a chance to see a new episode of “Criminal Minds,” but tonight hopefully got you right back into the world of this show and its characters.
Next week, it will be taking you in another direction with “Breath Play,” a story that sounds somewhat typical on paper. There’s nothing that will make this episode stand out when you first read the synopsis, but based on what we heard about writing in Jennifer Love Hewitt’s pregnancy earlier today, we imagine that this may be when the show decides to really put this story into motion. Take a look at the synopsis below, and how Kate’s niece Meg could be the trigger to the news coming out:
“The BAU is called to Wisconsin in search of a serial killer, and the team looks for a connection among the victims for clues to the UnSub. Also, Kate has trouble dealing with her niece, Meg, when she begins acting out.”
The case itself sounds fairly standard, but that may be a good thing for more of a classic mystery given what we saw today in “Lockdown.” That episode can be best described intense times a billion, and there was a heck of a lot of crazy stuff going on in there from start to finish.
We are really only at the two-thirds marks of the season, so have confidence that there is so much more still to come.
