‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: What does Viola Davis know?

At the moment, there is little questioning that Viola Davis is the engine who makes “How to Get Away with Murder” go. She dominates many of the scenes, is one of the most morally ambiguous characters, and you constantly find yourself wondering just where she stands, and also what she is going to do next at any given moment.

Given that she is such a huge part of why the show works, is it possible that she actually knows something further on what lies ahead? Don’t count on that. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter after the finale Thursday night, she admitting that her knowledge of the stories for next season is virtually nil:

“At this point, [I know] absolutely nothing. I have given suggestions just like the rape scene and the Cicely Tyson scenes.) That’s all me and character background that I filled in. But in terms of plot, I don’t know a lot. I hope they explore characters more and relationships more. I will certainly interject some ideas. You have to have the entry and the “Oh my God” moments.”

One of the good things about this show is seemingly that there is a good deal of collaboration between the cast and the writers / producers as to how to further tell these stories, and all indications are that this is a pretty pleasant environment for all of them. The only stress here may just be whether or you are about to be killed off, given how often that seems to happen here.
