‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: First look at ‘The Things They Carried’
“The Things They Carried” is going to mark the return of “Supernatural” to TV next month. Not only that, but it will be doing so on a new night: Wednesdays. To make room for “iZombie” on Tuesdays, the Jared Padalecki – Jensen Ackles series will return on March 18, and will be in familiar stomping grounds after “Arrow.” As we’ve said, we don’t see this having a particularly huge impact one way or another in the ratings. This show stands mostly on its own.
This episode does appear to be a little more of a standalone hour than what we saw in “The Executioner’s Song.” While the Mark of Cain and that continued search for a cure is mentioned, Sam and Dean will be distracted by Cole, and a new case for them to make on involving a Khan worm. (KAHN!!! Sorry, couldn’t resist.)
The CW just released the synopsis for this episode, so be sure to take a look at it below:
“Despite Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) directive to forget about looking for a cure for the Mark of Cain, Sam (Jared Padalecki) continues to do research. Dean suspects Sam is hiding something but decides to focus on a new murder case where they run into Cole (guest star Travis Aaron Wade). The three team up and learn a Khan worm is infecting men and turning them into murderers. Unfortunately, the worm makes it’s way into Cole.”
Is it possible that we could be without Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard for this one? We have to assume so, given that neither party was mentioned here.
