‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: More family connections for Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Kate

“Criminal Minds” season 10 has, at least for the most part, done a good job at getting us to know a little bit about Kate Callahan over time. We’ve come to know about some traumatic events in her past, and we’ve also met her husband already (played by Greg Grunberg). Moving forward on the upcoming March 11 episode entitled “Breath Play,” we could also have a chance to see a different person in her family: Her niece.

Based on the synopsis below for the episode, it appears very much like Jennifer Love Hewitt is going to be heavily involved in the B-story for this episode, while the primary plot is something a little more routine for the show:

“The BAU is called to Wisconsin in search of a serial killer, and the team looks for a connection among the victims for clues to the UnSub. Also, Kate has trouble dealing with her niece, Meg, when she begins acting out.”

Ultimately, it is true that there is not a whole lot to take away from this based on the synopsis alone. That is why we’re hoping that there will be something even more substantial revealed when we hear a little bit more about the show in March. The show will probably take its time before revealing even more details.
