‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 16 preview: Who shoots Sam?

NCIS: Los AngelesMonday night’s new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” is definitely going to be one of the most dangerous ones that we’ve seen over the entire season so far, and this is definitely true more than anyone for Sam.

Want proof? You don’t have to look any further than the video below, which features him being hit by a sniper while out on a mission with Callen. He’s not dead, so that in itself should give you a little bit of hope. This installment will be largely themed around a race to figure out how to keep him alive, and how to ensure that the people responsible are taken down.

There’s not a whole lot else to go on from this clip alone, but it’s easy to have multiple opinions about what the show could do here with the Sam character. If they were to kill him off, it would be quite possibly one of the biggest TV shocks of the entire year. From that standpoint, it would be a game-changer and a sign that producers have guts. With that being said, we don’t want to lose LL Cool J, and for that reason, we’re hoping that the writers / producers go the more conservative route and this is all mostly misdirection.

We’ll be able to have for you some further news when it comes to the show soon, including about what happens to Deeks and Kensi when they have their first fight. Like with Sam, we imagine that they are going to figure out a way to be okay in the end.
