‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 16 video: Are Kensi and Deeks (and Sam’s life) in danger?

After watching the latest “NCIS: Los Angeles” promo below, we would not blame you if you were feeling a pretty wide array of emotions. From one vantage point, you may be rather pleased with the sight of Kensi and Deeks in bed together, even if it is accompanied by her wondering whether or not they are moving too fast in their relationship.

However, as happy as “Densi” may make you, you may be just as equally concerned about Sam by the end of the preview: His life could be in danger at some point during “Expiration Date,” which is probably not the title you want to see for this episode given his present state. Of course, Callen and the rest of the team will do everything that they can in order to save him, but there really are not any guarantees.

Ultimately, we want to believe that just about everything will be okay in the end, mostly because it always is. LL Cool J is a regular on this show, and while we know he’s a busy guy, this seems to be a great steady job to have. Also, the writers have to know that breaking up Deeks and Kensi after six years of buildup to them being together would likely make some fans pick up a pitchfork and have them running to the studio.
