‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20 spoilers: Is Rumer Willis first confirmed contestant?
While we have reported already on some possible names joining “Dancing with the Stars” this season, we now know with at least some confidence one of the people taking part: Rumer Willis.
According to Us Weekly (who has some photographic evidence), the actress and daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis is going to be one of the contestants. Not only that, but she has the luxury of working with Val Chmerkovskiy. One interesting thing here to note is that Rumer actually has a connection to Val’s partner last season in Janel Parrish: Both parties have appeared on “Pretty Little Liars.” Granted, Parrish was a regular for some time, while Willis appeared in just one episode as Zoe.
Is she a solid inclusion to the show? She is certainly not the most-famous contestant that we’ve ever seen, but she is the sort that could develop a following on TV. Also, this increases the odds of getting her parents to show up and support her. This is something that ABC has made good business on with Sadie Robertson and Bristol Palin on the show in the past.
Some of the other rumored names right now include “The Bachelor” star Chris Soules, comedienne Roseanne, and at least one player from the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. The full cast will be announced presumably on “Good Morning America” Tuesday; we say presumably because if Chris is cast, then the show may wait until the end of “The Bachelor” to confirm his participation. That is what they did both with Sean Lowe and Jake Pavelka in past seasons.
