‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 11 preview: Andrew Lincoln’s Rick questions Aaron

Rick -Who is Aaron within the bounds of the “Walking Dead” TV show? You’ve most likely had those questions, and the show will be delivering at least some answers to you sooner rather than later. After spending so much time on the road this season, we’d be admittedly pretty stunned if the show chooses to stay that way a whole lot longer.

What we can say about Aaron based on the sneak peek below is pretty simple: This man is not an idiot by any means. He knows precisely what he is doing. He is very well aware of the fact that Rick has no reason to trust him, and with that in mind, he makes no real effort to try to give him any answers when it comes to who his friends are, or how many people are out there. Instead, he just accepts his fate as what it is for the time being, and probably hopes that he can prove something to them later.

The clear question that Andrew Lincoln’s character and the rest of the group should be asking right now is simple: Is it worth it to try to trust this guy? Are the potential benefits of being around him far better than the consequences? We feel at the moment like the answer to that is pretty obvious: Only if there is a need for a certain resource that they absolute need for, like water. Unfortunately, they need water. After what happened with Beth and what we saw at both Terminus and Woodbury, there is no real reason for Rick to think everything is going to be okay.

We’re going to see a good bit of Aaron Sunday night, and hopefully, some concrete answers will come your way before the end of this season.
