‘The Flash’ episode 13 preview: ‘The Nuclear Man’ tells the story of Firestorm
Fans of “The Flash” and of Firestorm have been looking forward to finding out more about the mysterious character for some time; heck, even those who read the Firestorm comics are probably curious as to the show’s interpretation. We feel like out of everyone profiled within this CW – DC Comics universe right now, this is one of the hardest heroes to pull off. It is a little bit different when you are dealing with two separate men in Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein, versus just one person in a costume with a purpose.
The title for next week’s new episode in “The Nuclear Man” is meant as a clear reference to this character, and you should expect a story that gives us much more insight into how Firestorm exists now within this world. If you have not seen it yet, take a look at the attached synopsis:
“After Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) attacks a physicist (guest star Bill Dow), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team realize they need to go after Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) fiancé who is now a dangerous meta-human. They deduce the best way to track Ronnie is to find Dr. Martin Stein (guest star Victor Garber) who was working on a project called F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. Barry struggles to balance his duties as The Flash and his relationship with Linda Park (guest star Malese Jow), and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) enlists Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) help to reinvestigate the murder of Nora Allen (guest star Michelle Harrison).”
Maybe you will not receive every detail about Firestorm and Ronnie’s fate in this episode, but it is a step in the right direction. While we’re nervous just because of the character’s complexity, we haven’t been given a reason yet to severely doubt the show’s ability to get the job done.
