‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Are Hook, Emma actually happy?
Here is something that may surprise you: When “Once Upon a Time” returns on Sunday, March 1, it may actually be possible that the characters of Hook and Emma are not entirely miserable!
In the first photo below (via TVLine) from “Darkness at the Edge of Town,” you can look at Colin O’Donoghue and Jennifer Morrison’s characters and not immediately think that they are people at the center of a crazy story set within the world of fairy tales. You cannot even really see Hook’s … hook. It seems like a normal couple enjoying a little bit of wine and relaxation. Then again, they probably feel almost like they have a reason to be happy for now, given that the Snow Queen changed her ways before dying, Rumpelstiltskin has left, and there is no real drama causing problems within the town limits.
Of course, that won’t stay this way for long. The Queens of Darkness are coming, and with them some new plots as Rumple continues his own super-evil quest for world domination.
While all of this is going on, there is of course another story to keep watch about in Operation Mongoose. Regina and Henry are intent on finding the Author, in hopes that they can really see if there is any way for her to have a happier ending. At some point, we imagine Emma getting involved in the process.
What’s your take on this photo, and do you think that there is any way that Hook and Emma make it through the entirety of this second part of the season without further peril?
