‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: See Britt Nilsson, Chris Soules on hot-air balloon date

Will there be some smooth sailing in the future for Britt Nilsson and Chris Soules? While we’re not entirely sure that we can say that, the two are going to be the subject of a pretty major storyline on Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor.”

Before we say a whole lot else here at the moment, it only seems appropriate that we begin by saying that this seems ripe to be one of those fear-based dates. We learned that Britt is terrified of heights, and now has to float away with Chris on one of these balloons into the sky. Personally, we’re really excited to see this, given that hot-air balloons are one of those things that seem to be overlooked in modern-day pop culture. Then again, we are also not in the balloon.

While the two do seem to be very happy in the attached photo, will it stay that way? Possible fear aside, Britt did let some of her insecurities get to her on this past episode as she started to question whether or not Chris and her were on the same wavelengths. After all, she was basing her opinion of him off of hearsay that she had received about the group date at the lake, and thought that Kaitlyn was being rewarded for taking off her bikini bottom and diving into the lake. We’re sure that it was something more than this that led to that rose being handed out, but it surely was a part of the equation.
