‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: The return of Timothy Omundson’s Cain
Tuesday, February 17 currently feels like a date that should be marked on just about everyone’s calendar. Why is that? It marks the official return of Timothy Omundson to “Supernatural“! This has been a tremendous year for the actor already, given that he was sensational on “Galavant” (which we are currently pleading with ABC to renew). Now, we will be returning to this particular series in the role of Cain. Expect to see this beard potentially even more pronounced now than it is in the attached photo.
The title for Cain’s return to the series is “The Executioner’s Song,” and if seeing him once again was not interesting enough, you also are going to have a chance to see Sam and Dean actually working together with Castiel. That doesn’t happen every time we see the angel these days. Also, Crowley will be immersed in a story with Rowena. Take a look on the attached synopsis:
“Dean (Jensen Ackles), Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) deal with Cain’s (guest star Timothy Omundson) return. Crowley (Mark Sheppard) and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) continue to grow closer but when Crowley bails on plans with his mother to help the Winchesters, Rowena lets him have it.”
While we have no idea how this story will conclude, we just hope that it leads to more of Cain in the future. He’s a very intriguing character, and different from some of the others that Omundson has played throughout his career.

I would love to see Cain again but I’m afraid it too soon into the attempt to get rid of the MOC from Dean that they’ll quickly have it come off in an instant just like they cured Deanmon. Dean should have to live with the Mark like Cain does for the rest of his life. That would be interesting. Or they should have to deal with the source whoever that may be cause it shouldn’t be Cain. I agree Crowley is no longer any kind of threat as a villain and they don’t need a Demon friend. Either write something interesting for him to do which at this point is probably impossible as they painted themselves in a corner when they cured Demon Dean without him having some kind of great story involving Crowley and brought in his annoying mother who I hope someone kills quickly.

Yay! The return of Cain. Can’t wait. Quality actor who never disappoints.
Can Cain and Crowley take out the annoying angel please. It is about time Crowley started acting as a KING of Hell instead of swanning around his castle playing with mummy! Make him evil again.

I need more Tim action scenes! Watching Cain destroy that room of soldiers in the opening scene of ‘First Born’ was awesome! And watching Cain take that bullet and keep going was badass!!

YES. About time. o/ Team Free Will working together is my favorite. Between that and Cain’s return, I can’t wait!
