‘Glee’ season 4, episode 5 video: Darren Criss, Matthew Morrison talk invitational

Blaine -The story surrounding “Glee’s” two-part “The Hurt Locker” seems to be very simple: Sue Sylvester wants to destroy everyone related to the glee club for very little reason, and is willing to go in crazy directions in order to make sure that this happens.

Specifically, we are talking here mostly in terms of seeing if New Directions even survives the invitational that is happening right now at McKinley High. Sue made certain that everything was on place so that the group would be crushed. For example, she helped to ensure that Sam was a rat of sorts to Will, and passed along information that was not entirely accurate. With that, coupled with his job being on the line, Will decides to put Vocal Adrenaline into complete “demolish the competition” mode rather than trying to be easy on Rachel and her new rag-tag group of students. She does not have anywhere near enough members yet to actually compete, but that’s only one of her problems. She also has to figure out how in the world to keep the people that she does have.

The video below features Darren Criss and Matthew Morrison each discussing the competition aspect of the story, and precisely what is at stake. For Klaine ‘shippers, there is also a scene in here that features Blaine and Kurt seemingly getting along without any interference from Sue at all. We would interpret that as a good sign, and you probably should, as well!

We are going to have more news related to this particular installment soon, so stay tuned for that.
