‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 14 video: Can ichabod save Abbie?

There is something about the latest sneak peek below from Monday night’s new “Sleepy Hollow” episode that is rather old-school, and that is also probably why we respond to it so much. After all, one of the major reasons we enjoyed this show so much to begin with was because a good chunk of it was really all about watching Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills battle monsters. We do enjoy a longer story, but there were some cases here and there of the show biting off a little too much, and devoting too much time to a Katrina story that was not really what anyone was hoping for.

Well, the aforementioned video features Ichabod doing what he can in order to save Nicole Beharie’s character from a pretty terrible situation. There is some conflict back and forth, but the sneak peek ends before we can really say that anything particular stellar happens. This is all just creating more stakes and/or another reason to tune in.

What we hope for now is that this episode gives us some good standalone stuff, but also creates a little more of a stage for an exciting finale to come. We are presumably not that far away from the end of the road for season 2, and we want to see the show get back on track completely before that time. After all, that will make the potentially third season all the more exciting.
