ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 10 preview: First ‘Run’ video has Olivia Pope in peril

If you have been patiently waiting the return of “Scandal,” note this with a smile on your face: The time of waiting is just about at an end! The series returns to ABC with new episodes in just one week, and below, you can see the first promo that aired Thursday night.

The biggest takeaway from this right away is that you get a chance to see a little more of how Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) was kidnapped, which came at the end of an impromptu and very random dance party. Also, you get a quick glimpse at what transpires from there. Let’s just say at the moment that it seems very appropriate that “Run” ended up being the title for this hour. It seems that quite a few characters are all in the process of running in their own ways, but Olivia is physically moving quickly down a hallway, probably doing her part to escape a terrible fate.

If you recall, the whole reason for this kidnapping seems to be tied to Andrew and his plot, and it leaves Fitz with a difficult question: Is he going to be able to risk losing Olivia if it means not going to war? What is he going to choose? This is the most impossible choice for this man in particular, and it may take him more than an episode to figure it luckily.

Luckily, rest assured that we will have our finger on the pulse every step of the way, hoping to find answers.
