‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 11 preview: What Jonny Lee Miller, cast do to protect a friend

ElementaryTonight’s “Elementary” episode was a little bit different than most others we have seen, and for one very simple reason: This one delivered a rather epic, potentially game-changing cliffhanger at the tail end of the episode. The same man responsible for hurting Kitty is seemingly in New York, and this means that there is a case more personal for Sherlock Holmes to investigate than ever before.

In “The Illustrious Client” next week, Jonny Lee Miller’s character will do whatever he has to in order to keep his potential soon-to-be-partner safe, but he may need some serious help to do so. Unfortunately, Watson has just taken a new job as an investigator for an insurance company, and it is not entirely clear just how much time she is going to have to take part in solving this.

This episode will be the first part of a two-episode event, and the synopsis below lets you know just what you can expect:

“In the first episode of a two-part event, Watson begins her new job as an in-house investigator for an insurance firm. However, her attention shifts to a case that is personal for both her and Holmes when they join forces to eliminate an imminent threat to Kitty, on ELEMENTARY, Thursday, Jan. 22 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Stuart Townsend guest stars as Del Gruner, Watson’s new employer.”

Expect some powerful moments within here, but we should also tease right now that it’d be crazy to expect a completely wrapped-up story. We’re set to potentially have another cliffhanger, and for matters to be somewhat resolved around the end of January.
