‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 11 preview: The quest to save Mills
In a way, we are surprised at the singular focus of the new “Chicago Fire” preview below. Rather than concentrating on everyone from Dawson and Casey to Brett, the video below for Tuesday’s new episode really revolves around one thing and one thing only: Whether or not there is a way to save Mills.
The character’s fate is hanging somewhat in the balance following the fall finale, and you better believe that this is one of the first things that the winter premiere will address.
As for whether or not he really is in danger of death, there is one response that we have: Do you really think that the show would kill him off? This is not something we would worry too much about if we were you; they have already killed of Shay this year, so losing another series regular right now feels like a little too much.
At the same time, we do understand most of the hype surrounding the man’s fate. Given that this is a show about fire, we’d have a constant eye-roll motion going on if there was never anyone in serious danger of being written out of the show. We at least applaud them for staying somewhat believable.
For those of you who are watching for things beyond Mills, don’t worry: It feels inevitable that the show is going to address the state of Casey and Dawson at some point. After the tension (to put it lightly) between them last time, it would be a huge mistake not to.

I thn that MIlls might die. note I said might die. Because the title of the episode is “Let HIm DIe” and I have noticed that the title of the episode is ALWAYS said in the episode. ex. in Just Drive the truck what is the last thing out if casey’s mouth before the crash “Just Drive The truck” also in ALways the last thing severide and shay say to each other is “always”. See what I mean there is a trend and since the title is Let Him Die and this a mills centred episode I think MIlls is in great danger.
