‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Becky gets a boyfriend

We already knew that Becky Jackson would be around for more “Glee” in its final season, but thanks to the new Fox synopsis for “Jagged Little Tapestry” (airing on Friday, January 16), we know a little more all about what she is going to be up … or what is going on in her personal life.

Take a look at this synopsis below, since it references how a man in Becky’s life could create some anxiety for Sue Sylvester, and therefore many others in the New Directions family:

“Rachel and Kurt struggle as they try to rebuild and co-direct the glee club at McKinley. Meanwhile, Sue is concerned when Becky brings her new boyfriend.”

Ultimately, we hope that whoever this man is, he has genuine and good intentions for Lauren Potter’s character. After all, how long are we going to see Becky struggle? She may be mean at times, but she’s also been picked on, and then was at the center of the whole gun storyline that played out.

By the time the series is over, we do hope that almost every cast member, from Becky to Sue to Rachel, finds some sort of happiness. We don’t see “Glee” as the sort of series where you need to show the cold, harsh reality of the world. Instead, you want to see people sign off feeling like there is some sort of hope for their futures. We don’t necessarily need to see them starring in movies and with platinum albums, but we want to see that their lives are heading in the right direction.
