‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 12 video: Callen’s undercover skills

While “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 6 is not going to be back on the air until Monday, January 5, the new sneak peek below lets us know one thing very clearly: This one is going to be intense.

What we like about this video is that it starts out ordinary enough. Callen and Sam are running a standard undercover mission to try to figure out if there are arms dealers working within an office. Callen actually seems to be so good at his job that he is offered an early promotion!

However, it is at this point that things start to get a little ugly. Right when he starts to be figured out that he is more than just a guy working in the mailroom, gunfire starts to fly within the office and the building is taken over.

For Sam on the outside, this is trouble. He goes from giving instructions, to trying to figure out how to deal with both potential terrorists and also a hostage situation. This may be one of the most high-octane stories that we’ve seen so far this season, even if Callen in danger is something we are very familiar with at this point. Just go back to the premiere episode this season if you missed out on some of that.

“Spiral” is going to be a big episode for the Deeks / Kensi relationship, as well. After all, this is the first real chance that the two have had since getting together to get back into work, and the sneak peek here reveals that for the most part, their dynamic is similar.
