‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 12 video: Kensi, Deeks, and plenty of fun

Monday, January 5 is the return date for “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and for those of you wondering whether or not the show would change the dynamic for Kensi and Deeks now that the two are together, we have a clear answer for you: For the most part, the show is still doing the same thing with them that they were before, just with a slightly more romantic spin.

Rather than featuring them kissing or doing anything too romantic, though, the sneak peek below from the upcoming “Spiral” features the two “working out” much in the same way that they have many times before with the playful banter. However, there is one very clear difference, at least in that Kensi, rather than doing her typical routine, sits down to meditate. She tells her new boyfriend that she is trying to ease off of the adrenaline, and this is a great way for her to do this.

Ultimately, what this does lead to is one of the most entertaining Deeks / Kensi moments that we have seen on the show this entire season.

Even though the two parties are now together, we don’t see the show in any real rush to further along their relationship to any other level. With the ratings for other CBS shows dropping, we don’t see “NCIS: Los Angeles” in immediate danger of cancellation. With that, the writers can take their time, and maybe somewhere around the end of this season, we’ll have another major move. Could they actually tell us what is in the box? Ultimately, we doubt it.
