‘Supernatural’ season 10: What does Jensen Ackles still want to do?

When you have done a show for ten seasons, odds are, you have already done quite a few things that are on your wish list. This is probably even more true for a show like “Supernatural,” which consistently brings to the surface crazy ideas and circumstances almost every season.

Well, it turns out that there is something still that Jensen Ackles wants to do, and it is sounds at least on paper pretty exciting. Speaking in a chat with TV Guide, the actor explained how it would be interesting if life imitated art, and the show actually went on the road for a while:

“I think it would be a lot of fun if we took a handful of episodes, maybe half a dozen at the most, where we went from town to town and we took a small crew and we actually did a road show.”

Obviously, this would probably be a tricky thing to execute for cost reasons, especially since the show films so many episodes that they have it all worked out into a science at this point. Still, we admit that it would be a heck of a lot of fun to watch. Maybe someday if the show lowers its episode count, or is allowed to experiment even further, we could see something like this.

Given that in terms of enemies, Sam and Dean have tackled so many, a change in setting may be one of the only remaining ways to mix things up.
