‘Saturday Night Live’: Kevin Hart returns to host January 17 episode

SNL -Tonight, “Saturday Night Live” ended 2014 with a show featuring host Amy Adams, musical guest One Direction, and more surprise guests than we could count.

So when does the show return to NBC? The official date is January 17, and the host is going to be a familiar one in Kevin Hart. He hosted previously and did a pretty decent job, and he has a movie coming out next month. Therefore, the timing seems about right for him to return. Unfortunately, there is no musical guest known at this very moment, but we suppose that for now, we will just be happy to know what we know about the show.

Typically, “SNL” gives you at least a couple of editions of the show in January, and then plans some very big things for the February sweeps. One of the things that we are looking forward to seeing this year is whether or not they try to make a move to give you some sort of athlete for the weekend of the Super Bowl, since we are sure that there will be a new episode airing then.

Are there any people in particular we want to see on the show next year? We’re still pulling for Amy Poehler to come in host, but we’d also be really thrilled to see Jon Hamm back for more, given that it has been a while since he graced the stage. Or, how about Aziz Ansari? Maybe we just want most of the cast and recurring players of “Parks and Recreation” on this show.
