‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Manu Bennett teases first look at Slade’s return

As you may have heard already, Manu Bennett is going to be returning to “Arrow” for at least one more episode this season … and the latest teaser from the actor himself makes it look very badass.

Bennett posted the image below on Twitter, and we kind of love that he even wrote the tweet as if he was Slade Wilson himself. The mystery is still out there on just how we are going to see this character moving forward. One possibility is that this is going to be a flashback sequence, which focuses on Slade’s days after everything that happened on the island with Oliver. Another possibility is that he is visited on the island in the present by someone, given that there are a select few who know about his prison there.

As for who could let him free, it is pretty clear that there are some who will want to see Oliver Queen dead. (Yes, it looks like Oliver may already be dead, but are you going to believe that?) What we do wonder is if someone like Ra’s al Ghul would want to destroy Oliver so much that he would be willing to unleash a man who caused an uprising in Starling City the last time he was around back on the city.

Even though Slade seemingly does not have the mirakuru in his veins anymore, he’s obviously still been corrupted into a pretty dark soul, and a very bad dude. The only bummer here is that we don’t see an enormous arc coming for Slade right away. Bennett recently signed on to do a new project at MTV, which could limit his appearances whenever it is being made.
