‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ spotlight: Will this Vivica A. Fox appearance lead to a win?
Having been on “Dancing with the Stars,” Vivica A. Fox is familiar with reality TV. Also, she should be familiar with ridiculous things thanks to the “Sharknado” franchise. We like to think that “The Celebrity Apprentice” is a cross-section of these two things.
Can Vivica make it deep into the competition this season? We’re going to get into that in-depth within this article, but the quick thing we will say right now is that there is probably no quick / easy answer to this. Fox is one of the wild-cards of the season, and it may take a while before we figure out just how far she is going to go.
Claim to fame – She has appeared in “Kill Bill,” “Independence Day,” and dozens of other movies and TV shows. She works extremely hard, and has a ton of credits on her resume. “Sharknado 2: The Second One” is probably the most-prominent part for her in recent memory.
Advantages – She’s clearly a go-getter, and someone who is okay with occasionally making fun of herself (good for this show). As an actress, she should be able to put up a good front in the boardroom, and she also may be a decent creative force on some of the tasks thanks to her time in the entertainment industry.
Disadvantages – As accomplished as Vivica is, we don’t know if you could throw her on the street and use her celebrity. She’s more of a character actor to us than a celebrity in her own right. We don’t know if she will be strong enough TV to make Donald Trump want to keep her.
Charity – Best Buddies International, who help pair up children in need of support with worthy volunteers.
Prediction – Vivica could be the first one gone, or she could be in the final four or five. We cannot see her as a finalist, but she could stick around depending on her performance on the show. Some of the other contestants this season are easier to pin down.
