‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Will Jordan Branch educate Chris Soules on love?

Jordan -Some contestants on “The Bachelor” this season are ones we know a lot about. Jordan Branch, meanwhile, is a mystery wrapped within an enigma. We don’t try to go on some crazy investigation within the internet to find information about people, but we do at least do a few searches and check around social media.

Unfortunately, most of our searches came up empty looking for this particular Chris Soules contender, meaning that we’re going to have to mostly rely on her ABC bio for information here. With that in mind, it’s hard to figure out whether or not Chris will consider her a real contender.

Age – 24

Hometown – Windsor, Colorado. This is a small town of less than 20,000 residents; while this is not anywhere near as small as where Chris comes from, she can probably relate to him more than some other contestants.

Occupation – Student. This is a tricky one, given that she probably would not be able to move right away. We don’t see this as a definitive deal-breaker, but we could imagine Chris looking for someone a little further along in their professional career.

Bio highlights – This, when asked how she would want to impress a man: “Give him a sexy dance because it would turn him on and hopefully lead to more.” This form isn’t for a dating website! Either she has a plan to do something crazy on the show, or someone told her to say that. It’s just too far out there.

Positives – She seems to be pretty adventurous, and despite whatever edit Chris had on “The Bachelorette,” we know that he had some pretty crazy hijinks at one point in his life. They both may be cut from the same small-town cloth, and we at least don’t get any signals that she is there for fame.

Negatives – Maybe Jordan is a better friend for Chris than girlfriend, since we don’t necessarily see anything about her that screams “instant romantic chemistry” to him. The way she talks about some of her antics, and the aforementioned “sexy dance,” she may be a little too wild for what he is looking for at this point in life.

Prediction – It’s really hard to judge Jordan based on just a bio, but maybe she is the contestant this season who does something a little too crazy early and gets kicked off. We could see her lasting past the first night, but she seems to have “early elimination” written over her head.
