NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: See Damien’s ‘Soldier’ music video

To say that tonight’s finale of “The Voice” was intense would be to make one of the biggest understatements there is to make out there. We were really into the show more than most other finales, and that is largely because the contestants really brought the energy and the performance quality.

Also, some of that is due to how NBC and the show’s producers really treated most of these people like actual finalists for a change! This was a refreshing swap from the past few seasons, where it felt like the contestants were rushed somewhat out into the world.

Do we think that Damien is going to win the show? Probably not. He was often edited like he was the forgotten man during the finale, and did not get to perform at some of the primo spots during the show. Still, he brought his all to the show, and his original song “Soldier” is an example of that.

All of the contestants got official music videos tonight to go with their songs, and his certainly has that emotionally quality to it. Also, it has a heck of a lot of rain. If you have enjoyed seeing what Damien has brought to the table over the years, then we imagine that you also found this equally enjoyable.

As for charting where his career could go moving forward, patience really is going to be the key for him. If he surrounds himself with the right people and takes time to make a quality record work, he could be quite the artist at the end of the day.
