ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 10 spoilers: The next title is…

Want some further confirmation on the title for the next new episode of “Scandal“? Well, we have it for you now courtesy of the showrunning empire-leader that is Shonda Rhimes.

In a post on her official WhoSay page, she confirmed that this January 29 installment is entitled “Run.” Hardly the most informative title in the world, right? For those wondering, this is the second episode this season written exclusive by her, as she also penned the season 4 premiere. What’s interesting here is that this is already more episodes than she wrote individually for all of the third season. (She co-wrote the finale.)

The thing that you do ultimately have to remember here is that if Rhimes is penning your episode, it is probably for a pretty significant reason: Something important is happening. She is the person steering the show, and therefore, she has the freedom to choose which episodes she really wants to take on.

At the moment, there are a number of huge storylines on “Scandal” that still need to be paid off, with of course the biggest one being the fate of Olivia Pope. We can only hope that Rhimes does not feel any pressure to really rush in with this storyline, and allows us a little bit more of an opportunity to see it simmer; that way, the ultimately payoff will be all the more interesting.

Also, you have to remember here everything that is going on with Huck and his family, and Fitz’s current decisions at present. All are important threads.
