‘The Amazing Race 25’ episode 11 preview: Amy & Maiya face a collision

Let’s face it: Going into Friday night’s new episode of “The Amazing Race,” it was pretty clear that we were going to have a non-elimination leg on the show. With that being said, that makes the leg airing on CBS next week all the better.

There are four teams left in the competition still, and we do feel like all of them have an outside chance at winning. Jim & Misti have been the consistent, dominant forces, while Adam & Bethany have been very good and athletic at the same time.

Then, you have the underdogs. The promo that aired after tonight’s episode showed Amy & Maiya getting into some sort of collision, and that spells trouble for them. The problem with these two is that they are really the sort of team that has to be perfect to make it through, since they are not going to outrun or out-muscle anyone else that is left.

The team that would sit at the bottom of our power rankings for now, though, has to be wrestlers Brooke & Robbie. They are in good shape, but they continually make mental mistakes. Mostly, they get in their own head and doubt every little thing that they do, and you cannot have that sort of mentality if you want to be a really good competitor on this show. They could still win the whole thing with a little luck, but they have to take on a Speed Bump in the next new episode that could prove tricky.
