‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 8 preview: Kim Rhodes returns as Jody Mills!

If you love “Supernatural,” then you know very well already that one of the things that makes the show so great is the recurring cast of characters who occasionally pop up from time to time.

One of these such characters is none other than Jody Mills, who is going to be coming up on the upcoming eighth episode of the season for another storyline. These are standalone plots, but but this should be an especially interesting one since the case sounds particularly horrifying.

“Jody Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes) reluctantly attends a mandatory sheriff’s retreat and is partnered with an overeager sheriff named Donna (guest star Briana Buckmaster) who wants to bond. Just as Jody thinks things can’t get any worse, a body with just strings of meat and skin hanging off the bones is discovered. While the local sheriffs blame an animal attack, Jody knows better and calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles).”

Meanwhile, the promo below just screams one thing above all else: Fun. You’ve got the return of the badges, monsters, and familiar faces. After doing some more experimental stuff and also the long-term plot with Demon Dean earlier this season, we’re going a little bit more old-school here and we couldn’t be happier.
