‘Homeland’ season 4, episode 10 preview: A sneak peek, a scheduling surprise

Just in case you thought that matters on “Homeland” season 4 were already pretty terrible, here is some breaking news for you: They are about to get even crazier.

As the new sneak peek from the tenth episode of the season makes it clear, the U.S Embassy is going to go on lockdown, and we are going to have to wait and see if Peter Quinn can go into his best hero-mode in an effort to protect everyone.

There is one other major twist that you also have to be prepared for … There is not a new episode airing on Showtime next week. What is the reason for that? Apparently, it is making sure that there are no other problems when it comes to ratings. Next weekend is Thanksgiving and more, so clearly there is a fear that some people will be traveling back home.

We are admittedly a little bit surprised by this move, mostly because there is not a clear reason why the network would be worried about something three days removed from Thanksgiving. Not only that, but this is pay cable. If people can afford Showtime every week, we imagine that they can probably also afford being able to record or watch an episode on-demand.

Regardless of when this episode airs, it really does not change much the fact that this show is still going to be hopefully exciting moving closer to the end, and Carrie and company are hopefully going to find some success.
