ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 10 preview: Kerry Washington, cast’s 2015 return date

Tonight, the crazy story of “Scandal” season 4 came to a close … but only for the time being. There are going to be some more stories and updates coming early next year, and we can at least give you one little update in the form of a return date.

Thursday, January 29. That is when you should mark your calendars for the next all-new episode of the show to air. There is still more than half of a season still to air, and we imagine it airing in two more bunches: One from January until early March, and then another one that will go from late April until the end of May. While this is not confirmed, this is typically the way in which these shows tend to do things.

For Kerry Washington, the challenge for her is pretty darn simple: How in the world is the actress going to be able to top her performance tonight? She killed it, and there is no other way to put it.

The cliffhanger at the end of tonight’s episode was simple enough: Olivia was snatched up, right after a night of booze, dancing, and wanting to have sex with Jake on a piano. Now, the question is where she is being taken, and what could happen to her. Also, Rowan is still out there somewhere, event though we don’t imagine him coming back at some point in the immediate future. There is no need to rush some things!
