‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, and a rescue in ‘Crossed’

Rick -Tonight’s new episode of “The Walking Dead” was pretty sensational, especially if you are a fan of Carol and Daryl. It was meaningful, heartfelt, and above all else, it gave us a little bit more direction as to how the rest of the season is going to go.

Next week’s new episode “Crossed” seems to pick up almost where tonight left off, at least in that we’re going to see the mission to save both Beth and now Carol from the hospital is underway. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) seem to be at the forefront, though many will join in to the cause.

Want some more news in terms of what you can expect? Then just take a look at the official synopsis right now via AMC:

“A rescue mission while attempting to hold down the church leaves the group spread thin.”

There are only two episodes left this year, and given the situation for many of these characters, it feels pretty safe to assume that the odds of all of these people surviving on this show are pretty darn low. We’d be worried about almost anyone in Rick’s camp, Beth, or anyone else who puts themselves in the line of fire.

Also, we’re kind of hoping that at some point moving into the near future, we finally start to understand a little bit what the deal is with Father Gabriel. This preacher is trying a little bit too hard right now to be a man of enormous mystery.
