‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 4 preview: Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu, and artificial intelligence
“Elementary” tonight had an episode that contained a little bit of everything. There was plenty of drama, intrigue, and guest stars including “Mad Men” star Rich Sommer and also NFL star Phil Simms.
So where is the story going to go from here? We’re now looking towards the next new episode of the show entitled “Bella,” which is going to involve computers and artificial intelligence. There are sometimes that we wonder if Sherlock is a machine due to his brilliance, but if that is the case, we have seen quite a few malfunctions in the process.
In addition to the case of the week, this episode is going to be intense courtesy of Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu’s characters dealing with some other problems, as Sherlock tries to inject himself into her personal life much more than he should.
Be sure to take a look right now at the official synopsis for this hour:
“When a groundbreaking artificial intelligence software program is stolen, Sherlock agrees to take on the case, but enlists Joan’s assistance in solving it when he becomes more interested in disproving the computer’s abilities than finding the thief. Meanwhile, Joan confronts Sherlock about his motives after she learns he has been in direct contact with her boyfriend, Andrew, without her knowledge.”
In the end, what we are really hoping for with this installment is just some reasons to smile, and maybe to go along with it a hope that Sherlock and Joan finally get through most of their problems.

Such a stupid and overplayed premise for an episode. Killer AI? A positive AI story would be refreshing
