ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 9 (winter finale) preview: Can Kerry Washington’s Olivia escape death?
Next week, the end is going to be here for “Scandal” season 4 … at least for this fall. The title of the episode is “Where the Sun Don’t Shine,” and if there is one word that we could use to describe just what is coming up ahead, it is this: Danger. There is a reason to be very afraid for almost all of the characters on the show.
Given that everything does begin and end with Olivia Pope, though, you cannot be that shocked to learn that the same can be said here. Kerry Washington’s character is going to be in grave danger, and she may start to think that she has overplayed her hand for a change. Want to know more? Then take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Command is always two steps ahead and everyone in Olivia’s life is in danger. Meanwhile, Cyrus is forced to face the consequences of his behavior, and Huck and Quinn finally figure out just what Elizabeth North has been planning, but they might be too late to stop it.”
The show will be back for some more episodes on ABC early next year; basically, we’re not getting an indication that the show is going to air the episodes in two giant blocks again like last year. We figure there will be an arc around the February sweeps, and then another one that will go from April until the finale in May. This enables the show to be around for most of the extremely-important stuff.
