‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Abbie’s mother arrives in ‘Mama’

Great news for those who want to know even more scoop when it comes to the life of Abbie Mills on “Sleepy Hollow“: The next new episode is going to focus heavily on her mother. The title of the episode, after all, is “Mama,” and this character of Lori Mills could turn up in an unexpected way.

“A series of mysterious deaths at Tarrytown Psych leads Abbie and Ichabod to discover that an especially surprising spirit.”

The major thing that we hope for when it comes to this upcoming episode is a chance to really see some fascinating new insight into how Abbie’s mother further shaped her into the person that she is now, and how this may also in turn may have shaped Jenny. There is a certain polarity that comes across really well with these two sisters, and it’s not something that you see many other shows perfect. Typically, these other shows are much too concerned in playing up a rivalry, or dealing with petty fighting.

Granted, there’s not a whole lot of time for Abbie and Jenny to engage in such pettiness when they are trying to save the world from an apocalypse, and with the help of a man who technically should have been dead centuries ago.
